Starting the recovery process can seem intimidating and unpleasant, especially knowing that this is just the beginning of the journey. Take the time to realize and understand that if you do not start this process you can/will lose those you love the most, lose control, and can possibly lose your freedom by being arrested, and even lose your life. While starting treatment may seem scary, a lot of that fear and anxiety is because of the unknown. If you have any questions, Recovery Ways Admission Counselors, answer our helpline 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They can listen to your concerns and offer solutions as well as answer any questions you may have. We want you to feel comfortable as well as receive the treatment you need, no one person is the same as another, which is why we offer an individualized program for each patient. We have private and semi-private room with private bathrooms. We even have Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) approved rooms available for those who need them. While our programs are individualized and patient centered we will make recommendations for what we believe the best course of action will be for you and your long term sobriety. Addiction Treatment & Recovery
Deciding on receiving treatment for substance abuse is the first step in the right direction. The next step is deciding where to get treatment and what treatment is best for you. While some people would rather stay near their residencies for treatment, sometimes travelling away from other known users and areas where they know their substance can be found is helpful. Removing yourself from the common haunting grounds can make your recovery seem more like a vacation, can make treatment easier, and can help you focus on your treatment more. If you do decide to travel for treatment to Recovery Ways, we can help you make travel plans and even pick you up from the airport. Starting treatment is enough for you to focus on, we will help you with travel arrangements so that you do not have to worry about them. People who travel for treatment often worry about what will happen when treatment is over and they go back to their residencies. There is no need to worry, Recovery Ways works with centers and support groups all over the country, so when you finish treatment here we will help you find local continued support. There are many factors for determining what kind of treatment one receives and for how long. Some of those factors include: length of time someone spent using the substance, method of use, severity of use, their social support network, their level of motivation and willingness, severity of medical or psychiatric issues, their living environment, and the number of times in treatment before. We know the longer an addict spends in a supportive, recovering environment, the greater the chances they will maintain long-term recovery. Secondly, the longer a person spends in addiction treatment, the greater the likelihood they will receive all the benefits treatment center has to offer. Most importantly, the decision to leave treatment should be left to the treatment team. They are not easily manipulated and will base their recommendation on what the client needs, rather than what the client wants. Recovery Ways offers different programs and a continuum of care.
