There are many factors for determining what kind of treatment one receives and for how long. Some of those factors include: length of time someone spent using the substance, method of use, severity of use, their social support network, their level of motivation and willingness, severity of medical or psychiatric issues, their living environment, and the number of times in treatment before. We know the longer an addict spends in a supportive, recovering environment, the greater the chances they will maintain long-term recovery. Secondly, the longer a person spends in addiction treatment, the greater the likelihood they will receive all the benefits treatment center has to offer. Most importantly, the decision to leave treatment should be left to the treatment team. They are not easily manipulated and will base their recommendation on what the client needs, rather than what the client wants. Recovery Ways offers different programs and a continuum of care. Residential Treatment
Patients entering our residential treatment center are no longer in need of acute care and aren’t illustrating withdrawal symptoms, yet they are still in need of 24-hour monitoring and support. Inpatient rehabilitation has the highest long-term success rates. During this phase of treatment, patients receive more intensive individual and group counseling sessions. Recovery Ways keeps our groups small to make sure that everyone gets the most out of the therapy. Our residential program is highly structured, offering a minimum of 8 hours of daily programming. Developing insight and understanding into the disease of addiction, the psychological triggers, and the recovery process provide the foundation for our residential treatment program. The length of treatment depends on what substance was being abused, the severity of the addiction, if the patient has been through rehab before, and if they have any co-occurring disorders. We will work with them to determine what is the best options for them to ensure they fully recover from their addiction with the capability of maintaining their sobriety.
Partial Hospitalization
Partial Day Treatment at Recovery Ways offers the most structure and care in the outpatient setting. We provide substance abuse and mental health services in the context of our treatment environment. Our skilled and dedicated professionals create structure and a caring treatment environment. Patients are able to attend treatment during the day and then return home in the evenings to practice the skills they are learning. Treatment includes a variety of evidence-based services that build on strengths and address problems associated with the complex conditions of each individual and their family. We provide support to patients and families and help develop a plan for time off campus. We work as a team with patients and families to provide support during Day Treatment and a plan for time off campus to maintain sobriety.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Recovery Way’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides treatment which will empower patients to function more independently and responsibly while preparing them for the community with the skills and abilities to lead successful lives. It can be designed to work in conjunction with your daily career to prevent a period of absence from your occupation and can allow you to live at home instead of at one of our locations. We provide comprehensive outpatient services for those who are assessed as being able to participate successfully in regularly scheduled outpatient visits and who are not at medical risk. The program has a weekly commitment to attend three Recovery Ways evening or morning group therapy sessions. We also have a family program and you will be introduced to local 12-step groups. IOP patients have learned the fundamentals of addiction management and will learn how to strengthen those skills and build the start for their new sober lives. Through this program, the staff at Recovery Ways will help patients start putting the fundamentals of their sober life in place and help them with any problems that may arise during this time. Patients will continue therapy and have other services offered to them including life skills to help with the continued healing of the mind, body, and soul.
